Can't drink anything for another week or so while I'm on egg donor meds, and the pinot is calling me :(
I tried telling the doc that eggs can't get drunk, but it didn't work.

My condolences. J/k, I'm not that big of a beer snob. I do prefer Miller, though.

My tastes are weird for my age. I don't like any of the Miller beers. But I don't like a lot of the crazy indy craft beers. So I drink old man beer and whiskey. haha

Having a glass, or two (or maybe three?) of the blueberry-black currant wine that the farm I work for makes. Delicious!

It's not remarkable, but it's the only beer my neighborhood market sells that comes in a .5L can. I only drink it after pouring, though.
Weather was nice enough to enjoy a cigar today, too. I got a Hoyo de Monterey Rothschild double maduro. Grossly overpriced, but I couldn't get to my regular shop. It was very nice!
Enjoy your evening. Glad you're feeling better!

Ugh.

My wife would never let me smoke in the house, but I wouldn't anyway. It would be nice to have a smoking den, though. Then I would have to get a smoking jacket.

Forget the Pinot, I'll be giving some champagne showers in the VIP!!
....and by "champagne showers" I mean "fat checks," and by "in the VIP," I mean "to my student loan debt holders and my down payment fund."

I managed to keep my student debt low. I upped how much I pay monthly to pay it off quicker. If I dipped into savings I could pay it off but then that would defeat the purpose of savings.

Oh, absolutely. My education was pricey (out-of-state tuition at UM does that) but I've been hyper aggressive with my loans: about to have the whole thing paid off in 3 years while still living comfortably and contributing to my work 401k, my personal IRA, and my regular rainy day/down payment savings. Being able to sell some genetic material is just icing on the cake :)
Thank the horsepower gods that my grandparents had some foresight to save a bit for my education and taught me this adult shit because my parents are... not so good with money :/
